Extremely high source of vitamin C!

Native Americans preserved & stored them for future use.  It will hold the Vitamin C value even when dried.

Effective for colds, diarrhea, coughs, disintery, scurvy (vitamin C deficiency) and consumption (disease known to deteriorate the body).

Native Peoples after making a tea would "Recycle" the berries by adding them to stews to add bulk and flavor.

May be eaten like raisins for a great snack.

Today people are serving them as a side dish flavored with butter & salt.

Rosehips can be used on a daily basis and are better than citrus as a source for Vitamin C.
