Though yucca usually works quickly, in rare cases it may take up to 10 days to see results.

This is one I personally use for arthitis and soreness in the joints and have had great results with it. 

After some personal experimenting I came up with a "system" that seems to work for most people who try it. 

It's pretty simple really. 

I started by taking 1 heaping teaspoon (see note below) in cold water two times a day.  On the morning of the third day I was able to flex my right hand with only a minimum of discomfort and I was able to walk without the bones in my right foot feeling like they where grinding together.  I continued the same dosage for a couple more days then stopped because I was feeling pretty good. 

Almost a week went by before I got up one morning and felt the stiffness and soreness creeping back in. 

That morning I did 1 level teaspoon and went through two whole day's and night's without discomfort. 

Here is what I have learned and suggest to others and the results have been good based on the feedback I get.

Take 1 teaspoon in the morning as soon as you get up and 1 teaspoon at night just before bed.  Do this for 7 days. 

Please don't stop if you start feeling better, this first “high dosage” is important.  After 7 days take a break and stop using the Yucca.  Over the next couple of days monitor your bodies reaction.  So many people have told me that “they felt a little better” or “thought it might be helping” during the first 3 or 4 days but when they stopped taking the Yucca the pain and soreness came back and they realized how well it had been working. 

At this point you need to make a choice based on what your body is telling you.  If you found a good amount of relief then what I like to see people do is to cut back to a smaller dosage like 1 teaspoon a day for the next 5 days and see what their comfort zone is.  However if you feel like another 5 days at the 2 teaspoon dosage is better then do it.  The idea is to find out what the minimum amount is you need to be comfortable.  That is why I ask people to stop taking them after a number of days have passed and to change the amount when they start again.  By doing this you are able to tell if the herb is really working and how well it is doing it's job. 

The basic idea is to take smaller & smaller amounts and lessen the length of time you take it.  Some people get results quicker than others, after all we are all different and have different eating and sleeping habits. 

Personally I only take as needed.  Many weeks pass then one morning I feel the first signs and will take a teaspoon in the  morning and night for a couple of days and then stop for weeks or months.

NOTE: Yucca is not the best tasting stuff so I add a little cinnamon and/or raw stevia leaf powder to sweeten the taste. 

To 1 heaping teaspoon of Yucca I use about a 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon and about an 1/8 teaspoon of Stevia.
